The process of burning fat is synonymous to weight loss for some, and for others they are two totally different undertakings. While weigh-in's are an important part of the process, you can still have a successful week or month even if the total number that displays did not decrease. One pound is equivalent to 3,500 calories. If you do not have a plan of attack to turn stored fat into expended energy, NOW is the time for US to create one... TOGETHER!

According to the American College of Sports Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) account for more American deaths than any other disease (with nearly 860,000 deaths annually). There are a number of diseases that make up CVD and Metabolic Diseases, these include (but are not limited to):

  • Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)

  • Hypertension

  • Peripheral Artery Disease (CAD)

  • Diabetes (Type 2 being most common)

  • Dyslipidemia

  • Obesity

Majority of these diseases, even with a genetic predisposition, are caused largely due to a sedentary lifestyle, accompanied with poor dietary habits. If you happen to suffer from any of the aforementioned diseases (or are on a trajectory to suffer from), let's course correct! It's time to stop spending money on medications to mimic good health and start investing in the real thing!

Build muscle

Building muscle may look different from one client to the next. Depending on your fitness goals, you may want to legitimately pack on as much muscle as (safely) possible.  Otherwise known as "bulk up." OR..... you may simply want to become slightly more defined but not "over do it." Otherwise known as "toned." These are commonalities and are easily accomplished by appropriately incorporating muscular strength vs. muscular endurance (or vice versa).
