Group Training

Group Training is perfect for clients who enjoy a multi-person atmosphere, as well as the additional motivation and drive elicited from being around others. The groups at LG4M remain small (between 2 - 5 people). The participants can be compromised of family, friends, co-workers (if you would like to initiate a group) or other fitness enthusiasts (if you are interested in joining an existing group). One of the biggest benefits of group training is you receive majority of the same services obtained with One-on-One, for a fraction of the cost. Regardless of your previous experience with exercise (be it novice or veteran status) group training is an excellent way to jump start your fitness goals! Each group session is purposefully created to push you slightly beyond your comfort zone. That is where true progress lives. This is accomplished by:

  • Discussing short and long-term goals

  • Determining medical history and current fitness levels (via PAR-Q)

  • Identifying any potential barriers or future roadblocks

  • Administering modified Cardiovascular, Muscular Strength and Endurance, and Flexibility Assessments

  • Customized Program Design (using the FITT Principle)

  • Demonstration and posture correction

  • Having a consistent Accountability Partner

  • An agile based process that is adaptive and evolves as needed to ensure program success

  • Weekly weigh-ins (including body fat and muscle mass)

  • Continuous conversations on nutrition intake (and possible modification)

  • Weekly homework and debrief
